For over 20 years our mission at Charley’s Concrete has been to provide quality products and efficient service to our clients in the ready mix industry. We take pride in conducting business with honesty and integrity and our staff plays a vital role in providing first-rate service in a safe, family-oriented work environment.
History:
Charles R. Pennington, president, began his career pouring residential foundations. In 1970 he opened his own ready mix company and sold the business after 5 years of successful operation. Charley then began building homes, first with a partner and then as Pennington Homes. Returning to the ready mix business, Pennington established Charley's Concrete in Keller, Texas in 1985. Charley’s opened with seven mixer trucks and a commitment to provide superior quality and service.
The company is owned now by Charley Pennington and his son, Brent Pennington, vice president. Brent, like Charley, began his career finishing concrete. He has been with Charley's from the beginning and is well versed in all aspects of the operation. With their years of hands-on experience, Charley and Brent have a deep knowledge and understanding of the concrete industry and their customers’ needs.
Service:
After more than 20 years in the industry, Charley’s has grown to six plants, running 89 mixer trucks, 21 haul trucks and seven cement tankers. With four locations and a dedicated team of more than 140 employees, we are the company to meet your concrete needs.
